FAQ

Q: Is this Islamic content or secular wellness?

A: It's both. The neuroscience is universal, your nervous system works the same way regardless of faith. But the teaching is rooted in Islamic perspective, using Tafakkur (reflection on Allah's creation), Quranic reflection, and Sabr as the framework. This isn't generic mindfulness repackaged. It's created specifically for Muslim sisters.

Q: Do I have to read all items in order?

A: A: No. You have lifetime access. Go at your own pace. If you need to pause and come back, do that. There's no deadline.

Q: Is Hijacked the same as Grounded and DayBreak?

A: Hijacked is the explanation, it teaches you what's happening and why. Grounded and DayBreak are the practice, guided nervous system resets through Tafakkur, Quranic reflection, and nature immersion (5 minutes, 3x/week). Think of Hijacked as the foundation. Grounded and DayBreak build on it.

Q: I'm not sure I'm "burnt out enough" for this. Is this for me?

A: If you're asking that question, you're in the right place. You don't have to be diagnosed with anything or hit rock bottom to deserve understanding. If you're tired, disconnected, or just trying to figure out why rest doesn't feel like rest anymore, this will help.

Q: What if I don't have time?

A: Each session is an average of 5 minutes. You can do one a day or several in one sitting. It's designed for sisters who don't have extra time, which is why it's short, clear, and flexible.

Q: Will this actually help or is it just more information?

A: This is information that changes how you see and interact with both yourself and your surroundings. It's not a list of tips. It's the explanation you've been missing, the one that makes everything else make sense. And it includes Tafakkur practices rooted in Quranic reflection that you can try today to feel the shift in your body.

Q: What if I've tried everything and nothing works?

A: That's exactly why this exists. When you're stuck in protection mode, your nervous system isn't listening to logic or effort. It doesn't matter how hard you tried or how committed you were. If your body doesn't feel safe, nothing you do on top of that will land. This teaches you what's actually happening so you can stop fighting yourself and start working with your body instead.

Q: What's the catch? Why is Hijacked free?

A: No catch. Understanding shouldn't be gatekept. This is the foundation everyone needs before any practice will work. If you want to go deeper after this, Grounded and DayBreak will be there. But there's no obligation and no pressure.
